History/Personality: a quick n helpful reference

Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?: Not really, no. While Emil is ready and willing to throw himself into danger for a select few people, it's really only that select few; ultimately, until you get under his skin and he gets attached, he doesn't make a good impression and prefers not to go out of his way to do anything difficult. He did, in fact, "join the army for all the wrong reasons," i.e. to set things on fire, and not to protect his fellow man or anything like that. He has moments of bravery, he's impossibly loyal to the one friend he's been able to make, but ultimately he wants to live a comfortable life and not get involved in anything wild unless he has to.

So, like, no. Not really, no. Begrudgingly, he can be roped into other people's heroics, but he'll never be The Hero himself. That would take too much effort; he has other things to do, like sleep and not get himself killed.

Powers/Abilities: Emil is a normal human with no powers; he has above-average experience with monster stabbing and demolition, but that's it. The only other thing of note is that, while it's not a power but the pronounced absence of one, it's apparently very easy to get into his head with any mind-influencing-type powers.
Inventory: His fresh fit, a belt of mini explosives and some matches, a knife, an ancient UNO card deck, an equally ancient dart board, a backpack.

Coterie: Salamanders, so he can learn alchemy and set things on fire with it.

Samples: crusty-ish; slightly less so
